Amber Anning, a senior at Arkansas representing England, won the women's 400-meter title in a lifetime-best 50.43 seconds at the Southeastern Conference Indoor Championships at Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Ark. Anning elevated to the No. 2 all-time British indoor competitor, in addition to finishing fifth in the 200-meter final in 22.76, an event in which she already holds the national record at 22.60, giving her the top two performances in her country's indoor history.
