No. 6 Razorbacks Head West for Stanford Invitational

PALO ALTO, Calif. – The No. 6 University of Arkansas men’s track and field team continues its outdoor season with a trip to Palo Alto, Calif., for the 40th Stanford Invitational at Cobb Track and Angell Field. Competition begins Friday and continues through Saturday with more than 3,200 athletes—open, collegiate and high school—and 100 four-year colleges represented.

Arkansas is part of a loaded field that includes competition from No. 1 Texas A&M, No. 3 Oregon, No. 5 Texas, No. 12 Oklahoma State, host and No. 14 Stanford, No. 21 Washington and No. 24 Michigan. Two-time defending NCAA indoor champion Omar McLeod is scheduled to compete in the 110- and 400-meter hurdles while two-time national champion Andrew Irwin is also set to open this weekend in the pole vault. Arkansas’ distance crew including indoor All-Americans Kemoy Campbell and Stanley Kebenei will also be in action. The Stanford Invitational meet schedule can be found HERE.
