Published by
Christopher Bailey, an Arkansas senior, won the men's 400 meters in a world-leading mark 45.09 seconds at the Razorback Indoor Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark. Bailey, who elevated to the No. 14 all-time collegiate indoor competitor, was racing the indoor 400 for the first time since 2019. It was also the second-fastest time by an American athlete in January, trailing only Fred Kerley's 45.03 performance in 2021 at the first American Track League event at Randal Tyson Track Center. Bailey also contributed a 45.03 split for the Razorbacks on the 4x400-meter relay, which finished fourth in 3:04.42. More videos |
