Heidi Nielson, a redshirt freshman at Arkansas, took third in the women's 3,000-meter final in 9:52.98 at the USATF U20 Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Nielson also qualified for the U.S. roster in the 5,000-meter final June 23 in 16:25.67. She is eligible to compete in both events Aug. 1-6 at the World Under-20 Championships in Cali, Colombia.
